Are you unhappy with the color of your teeth? Are you interested in teeth whitening but worried about the treatment because you have sensitive teeth? If so, there are a few things you can do to protect your pearly whites while avoiding painful or uncomfortable side effects.

Generally, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our dentist if you’re interested in having your teeth whitened. If you visit our team for a whitening treatment, we’ll be able to inspect your mouth and help you avoid problems that could lead to sensitivity. We’ll also tailor your experience to you, giving you an efficient and comfortable whitening experience. Store-bought whitening kits aren’t made specifically for your teeth, they can actually make your sensitivity worse.

When you visit our team, we may also use a laser during your treatment. If we do use a laser, we’ll be able to use a higher concentration of peroxide to accelerate the whitening process. Naturally, we’ll also take the appropriate precautions to help you prevent discomfort.
After your whitening treatment, our team could recommend a fluoride treatment to strengthen your teeth and help with your sensitivity.
